This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work when you book services through EventsCookie.
This policy applies to any event service booked through EventsCookie, including vendors for:
The cancellation terms may vary depending on the vendor and the service booked. Always check vendor-specific terms before making a booking.
If a client chooses to cancel a confirmed booking, fifty percent (50%) of the advance payment will be non-refundable. In addition, if the cancellation is made within seven (7) days of the scheduled event date, additional vendor charges may apply depending on the work already completed, materials purchased, or resources allocated for the event. Clients are strongly advised to inform the vendor and EventsCookie as early as possible in order to minimize potential charges and avoid further financial impact.
In rare situations where EventsCookie needs to cancel a booking due to internal issues or vendor-related circumstances, the client will receive a full refund of the advance payment. Wherever possible, alternate arrangements may also be offered to ensure that the event can proceed smoothly. Our priority in such situations is to reduce inconvenience and provide reasonable support to the client.
Force Majeure refers to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or other unforeseen emergencies. In such cases, the advance payment will be non-refundable. However, the advance amount may be used as credit toward a future event, provided that the new event is scheduled within six (6) months from the original event date. This provision is intended to maintain fairness while supporting clients during unavoidable circumstances.
Rescheduling of an event is permitted once, provided that a minimum notice of ten (10) days is given before the original event date. All rescheduling requests are subject to vendor availability. If the new date falls under a different season, peak period, or revised pricing structure, additional charges may apply. Clients are encouraged to communicate any change in plans at the earliest possible time to increase the likelihood of availability and avoid price differences.
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made in writing through official communication channels such as email or the EventsCookie platform. Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the payment method used. While EventsCookie acts as a facilitator between clients and vendors, we remain committed to assisting both parties in resolving concerns in a fair and transparent manner.
